My trigger fish is sick

This is kind of a repost (I am unable to delete my post from yesterday). I have recently bought a Niger Trigger from my local fish store, and after having him just a couple days he has been acting very erratic and has just recently developed these black spots on his fin. The fins have also started deteriorating, and I am very worried he will get my other fish sick. does anyone know what this could be?

Could be a bacterial infection. Is this fish in QT?

I lost a Niger a couple years back.I had him 4 years.His fins started to fray and within the time I realized he was ill he died.I believe it was bacterial,in nature.Is yours scratching against rocks,or substrate.The picture is a bit blurry,but I just want to ask....is there a whitish patch on it's side where it is discoloured?
