My Wavebox is now a "TsunamiBox"

I have 2 6100 on each side of the tank. The 6100 that is on the same side as the wave box should plug into the slave cord from the wave box controller. So how does the 6100 on the other side work with this setup. I have the old multi controller 7094.

Thanks Jason

Jason,

You can run the 6100 on the opposite side off of the 7094 doing its own thing. Tide, pulse or whatever. The wave is so strong that it will overcome it and make the current even more chaotic. Play around with different settings and see what works well in your set-up. I have had the Wavebox for almost a month now and am still experimenting.

Cool...you brought back the 1 year old tsunami thread!!!

Yes, the tsunami has been going for over a year now. Tried removing it a couple of times, but always put it back on because I missed that crazy chaotic flow.

Hi, I am seriously considering getting a wave box. I came across this thread in a search and thought it was a good idea to "double" oomph of the wavebox. I am interested to see how much it doubles. I am suprised more people arent doing it.....or they arent telling! :)

anyway you could put back the movies or post the pics...as the old movie links dont work any more,

Thanks!!!

Yes please, I second that. The movies would be COOL

I came across this post while searching for info on the wavebox. Very interesting and would like to see the videos.

Luis, do you have any wavebox vids for us to see?

Thanks!

Yes please repost or email addy to you .mac homepage. I have a wavebox that I am not very pleased with as I can not get the wave that everyone else gets. My tank is 60x30x30.

Sorry all...I let my .mac account lapse and they deleted everything in my account! I will dig up the old vids (or take some new ones) and try to get them posted in the next few days.

Yeah, thanks Ian...I'm still looking for one more if you know where I can find one!

Tagareef,

I have the same Tunze setup as you and just tried your find. All I can say is Nice Find!!

Roger,

Is this configuration supported by Tunze? Will it shorten the life of my stream? Is it endorsed. It really works well just want to make sure at over $300 bills a stream Im not going to blow my stuff.

Thanks,
Erik

It is OK to do this provided the pump has driver 7240.27. I would also be sure the Stream is absolutely clean. The quick off and on gives no time for the alarm to sound so it is hard on the pump if it does seize and this can burn out the driver. Also, keep in mind you are increasing the stress on the tank. You could use the branch adapter as you said.

This is Rodger's previous response ...
