My Weekend Trip to Atlantis

Hello Everyone,

I am new around here, but I went to the Atlantis aquarium in Riverhead this weekend and wanted to share some pictures. I will happily post more soon, but for now, this will get things rolling.

If you have not gone to the Atlantis aquarium (or not for a long time), it is a nice small venue great for killing a few hours and watching/seeing lots of interesting sea creatures. This was my first time there but I will be sure to go back every few months just to see what's changed and support these vital educational facilities to help inspire the youth to not only enjoy the sea but care for it like so many in this hobby have learned to do.

Fair Warning, these shots were all courtesy of my iPhone 5. I need to get a better camera after seeing these inspiring exhibits this weekend. They do still seem to have come out nicely though.

Wow,making me want to convert my 75 to all bta tank, beautiful!

I feel ashamed I didn't even take any pictures of the other coral/tropical fish. That one was really big.

The tank from the pictures seems quite deep (it goes far back) but completely covered in anemones. It's a shame they do not have it better labelled though, I ended up teaching a bunch of people that came over while I was taking pictures. Amazing how they have so many clownfish in the tank and I did not find any fighting at all. They all were quite large as well.

I'll post more pictures in the next few days, I haven't had the time to go through them at all.
