my zoa pics

No laughing please. Pardon the not so good photography skills.
If anyone knows the names of these zoas let me know. That is, if you can tell by the quality of the photo. It helps to know when fragging for others. Thanks

My tank at first set-up in March

And now...
18weekreefjuly23-07.jpg

Please excuse the "GREEN" algae on the rocks in the pics as my camera made it look WAY worse than it actually is. It is more gray/green/brown with bits of coralline. "Patiently waiting for more purple"

My tank was also set up in March and I've just now noticed a boom of coralline...granted, I've got only two zoa frags and a frogspawn to use up the calcium.

nice!!!

nice!!!

do you know what the reddish orange ones are? the second pic looks alot like mine but I dont know what they are

I wish that I did. I got these with my "nanopack
aboout a year ago from liveaquaria.com and they didn't send a list telling me what anything was. They just picked 5 and sent them.

They didn't grow very fast at all until I put them in this 55. Now they are spreading rapidly. There were 7 polyps I think and now they are, I don't know, but you can see more tha 20. It has only been since march. They spread faster daily.

They are a bit odd in that their are like 3 different patterns to them Pardon the pi, but if you look, you can see that some have orange, some do not, and the whitishe pattern is different on some as well.

Anyone have any thoughts on what they are and why they are "morphing?"

you got all those zoos and palys from liveaquaria frag pack? thats awesome youve got alot of nice ones there. if you dont know what the bright pink ones with the green centers are they are cat eyes to let ya kno. a very nice one to have.

Actually, the first 2 and the last are from liveaquaria and the other 2 are from fragglereef.

I got some green mushrooms from liveaquaria as well that came with the frag pack. I did get a orange ricordia from them too, but it blew away and fell behind the roccks, never to be seen again.

The other pics are in in my gallery.

looking good so far.. when that baby is up and fully running i am sure she will be full of zoas...
