I think this is a mycedium, friends of mine i.d. it for me.

I didn't know what it was I just couldn't pass up the pink eyes.

I just call them eyes, what would you call them??

You could call them polyps, but for some reason everyone calls chalice coral polyps eyes.
I do too. I bet it started with "Alien eye".
