I don't say much or post much but look at what I thought was a mantis in my tank! Two years and I pulled my rock up expecting a mantis, wow I was wrong. This is a Eunice worm and has eaten $600 plus worth of coral and invertebrates over the past 2 years . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-JWkiIozGI&sns=em
About 24 inches long found in my biocube 29

wow i can't believe that came from a biocube nano tank...when did you start suspecting? If it was me, the first site of a loss coral I would started to suspect something is wrong.

awww its kinda cute with its little nose tenticles.... so what did you do with it? I would have kept it ans fed it table shrimp or something to see how huge I could get it to grow

I'm lying in bed ready to go to sleep and that's the last image I'm going to have before I pass out. I'm going to have nightmares. That thing is so nasty.

If you only had one, how will it have babies? I heard some worms can split but in that case you would have 2 of roughly the same size.

Why did it take you 2 years and $600 bucks to finally pull out 29g worth of rock? It seems like not very much effort to wait so long.

it took about 2 years because all my rock was joined together by my corals. I was dreading the thought of having to pull all my rock apart. granted its not a large tank but a great deal of my sps grew into the rock and I had to bust many pieces to remove the rock.

And I do have another eunice . just seen it last night. much smaller about 4 inches
