I have had this seastar for about 2 years. He has been living with a snowflake eel for most of this time. Because of that he has taken to eating freeze dried krill. I do not know what kind of seastar he is but he behaves like a chocolate chip so I will not move him into my other tanks. I'm afraid he might eat my seahorses or eat corals. I'm tearing down the tank in my son's room as his snowflake eel has died. 
Since the eel has died he has been living with a pygmy angel and has not harmed the fish.
Anyway, I would like him to find a good home. He has been a great pet and he has never been exposed to air. I placed him in the container only for his picture. I tried to post the picture and it didn't work. I'll email you a pic if you are interested.
I do not know what kind of seastar he is. I bought him when I was traveling and have never seen another like him. I paid 25.00 for him. I would like to get $20.00 for him.
