Mystery Wrasse and Pistol Shrimp

Would this combo work or would the wrasse go after the pistol shrimp? I really want the goby/pistol shrimp combo but idk if it'll work. Also worth noting this is in a 30 gallon

I'd get a tiger pistol, a larger one. Candy canes are very small.
