mystery wrasse died ?

the past 4 week I notice hair algea built up. I been feeding my wrasse spectrum pellet for several month twice a day. I been cutting back once a day and I been using API algea fix for a week. Everything seem fine until this morning i found my wrasse died on the sand. Feeding him once a day is not enough? Any explanation?

My guess is internal parasite. They show no outward signs until its in an advanced stage. What I would do next time is feed your fish food soaked in metronidazole to eliminate anything inside the fish. I lost a bicolor blenny to hole in the head which is an internal parasite. He was as healthy as an ox until then.
