Mystery wrasse in 40 breeder with compatible semi aggressive tank mates?

Will attempting a Mystery wrasse in 40 breeder with 3-4 theoretically compatible semi aggressive tankmates be okay?

Fowlr, 29 gallon sump with good skimmer, minimalist rockcape and pond matrix for more bio in sump for. Will add last.

Almost every info site I've read says 30 gallons minimum except for Liveaquaria, says 55 gallon minimum. 40 breeder has s larger footprint than standard 55

Thoughts?

I've kept a mystery in a 42g since last summer with absolutely zero problems.

Mystery wrasses are pretty good fish. Mine would go after peppermint shrimp, but other than that I had no issues. He should be ok in a tank that size.

Any idea how many 3-4" fowlr tank mates is reasonable/doable in my situation?

It depends on each inhabitant being able to have their own place in the tank. For instance, if you get a cave dweller, who decides all the rocks belong to him, another cave dweller will never be comfortable. So you need to just go one fish at a time and see how the community unfolds, and stock it accordingly.
