Mystery Wrasse question

I want to buy one for my tank but I am a bit hesistant because I have an open top cube tank. I've heard they can be jumpers then I hear they are not. What do you guys think?

It will be in with a potters, lyretail anthia, and some small gobies. Thanks.

They will jump. Egg crate will not keep them in.

egg crate kept mine in, but I have since switched to clear netting as it does not block light; you will need a cover however

Mine doesnt jump....yet, at least. I had eggcrate on the top initially , but it browned out a couple SPS so it was removed. He's in with an algae blenny and a Venustus angel.

I would recommend a top though, especially with more fish. Im moving up to a new tank soon and will probably use the clear mesh screening.

it looks like I might steer away from this. If it was cheaper I would probably buy it but at $125+ its just too much to lose.

I dont think I could stand some sort of plastic netting or eggcrate. That would defeat the purpose of an open top tank. I like to look at my sps from below. Thanks again.
