I posted this in the TBS forum but thought I'd get some additional insight here:
The tank itself is a 120. I don't have any definate stocking plans at this time.
I'm just trying to figure out whether or not to spend alot of time trying to find any N. wennerae that hitchhike in on the rock I ordered.
Of course the advantage of putting them in a separate tank is that they'd be easier to find and it'd be a good place to put any other unwanted hitchikers like stone or gorilla crabs.
I just started researching mantis shrimp and the ones found in TBS rock are one of the recommended newbie shrimp.
Have any of you just left the mantis alone in the reef tank and let things follow their natural course?
