Hi i i have a 46 litre tank no sump, i have approx 5kg of rock and around 1 kg of sand this then gives me approx 40 litres of actual water. My Nitrates are over 10ppm so working on 3ml for 100l tank, how many ml's do i need to dose my tank with?

Thanks

Have you got a skimmer? It's pretty crucial for carbon dosing.
For a young 12 gallon tank I'd look at other ways to manage nutrients. It's not like 10ppm is an emergency or anything. Nano tanks like yours need carful control of parameters, a bandaid like nopox might be more trouble than help. And it's going to be so hard to dose such tiny amounts.

Yes got skimmer tunze 9001 sorry nitrates are over 50ppm ive tryed the regular water changes i thought the nopox feeds the good bacteria?

Small tank. Do another big water change. If you insist on going nopox start of small - 1 ml once a week to start.

It does feed the good bacteria, but so does poop :)
The bacteria you're thinking of is heterotrophic. They can take a little longer to get established in a new tank (just assuming based on your join date). JMHO it's better to get everything in order husbandry-wise and then use carbon dosing to polish off the last few ppm if you really need perfect water, or if there's an emergency like when I redid my aquascape and spiked nitrates. Sometimes when people use it as a shortcut they wind up with other problems from tweaking the tank chemistry, like cyano and blooms of bacteria etc. But it's not the most dangerous thing to tinker with, if you go slow.
Good luck!

Go slow, use half the recommended dose and keep a close eye on the tank. Iv been using it for about a month now with really positive results. Keep a close eye on your skimmer also, when the nopox starts working, you skimmer will pull a lot more than usual.
