I recognize a few of those! Looking great James. Where do you have that Tyree PM located? Mine likes less light, lower = darker purple, if that's what you want.

The pic right below the PM, green coral to the right, what is that?

Last one an A. papillare? I'm eyeballing one, and hope it's still there when I'm ready to start adding corals again.

Great pics as usual too. I may have to make the switch to Canon, can't get the hang of this Nikon.

Hey Marshal, I got my PM pretty high, and it seems to grow well under my 10k's. It's getting more purple everyday.

The green monti that's growing w/ purple grimace is from ORA. I got it from MACNA last year.

Last one is from ROAB via Tyree. "Blue Matrix" Super slow grower in my tank. I had it since October last year. It just likes to encrust.

Your vermiculata is also a slow grower in tank :(

If you switch to Canon, make sure you get the macro 100 lens.

no fuge or remote dsb at the moment. I'm going to get a new sump w/ refugium and frag tank built in. I'll post some pictures next month.

Fortunately, that is merely a couple of days from now. :D

naka, some of your sps look very close together, or in this case, even encrusting into each other:

I'm curious to hear your experience with this, because all your corals look happy and healthy. Do you attribute this to careful placement- ie pinning acros next to acros..etc...or have the sps in your tank generally not bothered each other?

Have you had to move things around alot?

I'm trying to decide whether to group montis on one rock work- acros on a completely different rockwork- so if they grow towards each other there might not be as significant an issue- but I'm curious if this has been a major concern/issue of yours?

Great idea. Who is building this for you? Do you have any plans you can post?

Marc, you're killing me:) I'll post more pics in December.

I have no clue as to why some of my sps doesn't bother each other. You can see by the picture that my tort is getting burned by the tricolor. I just leave it alone until it gets serious.

Saphire Aquatics and Fish Gallery is building my new sump.

I just like teasing you. You've got a stunning system that really needs to be shown off more often.

I'll be sticking your pictures on my site in the near future on a page called "Tanks I've had the chance to visit in person." I just got all my MACNA images linked last night to their permanent spot.

Fish Gallery/AE & Sapphire Aquatics? That is an odd partnership. I can't wait to see what they put together for you.

Anybody have used 250 de pendant w/ ballast laying around? I need it for my frag tank setup.

i have two aquamedic ocean light 250w de pendants W hanging kits, no ballast though but 250w ballasts are easy to come by, pm me if you are interested in one.

naka- i've got a de pendant and ballast. its a reef optics III pendant and a pfo hqi ballast. im not too far either.

Damn, that was fast. Hey GSMguy I really appreciate the offer, but since GMFett is in Austin, I'm going to have to pass on it.

yep i would too, I upgraded from the aquamedics to reef optix because they are better :)

Just thought id offer i noticed the box in the garage today
