I've started with a 250ml of nanno (green water) culture, I put most into a plankton reactor and the remaining I put into a small bottle on the window.
I expected the plankton reactor one to turn a darker green by now (been around 8 days)(added F2 to the water to start) thou the bottle on the window is turning greener faster (didnt add much to the bottle and only been there for 5 days).
Should it turn alot greener?
Should I add more F2 or try to split again or just wait?
On a better note my 250ml rotifer culture is doing great guns (water is a bit smelly so changing every 4-5 days), I've got 3 large bottles going now (again the one by the window is eatting faster than the other two).
Any advice will help (feeding rotifer diet at the moment but would like to use my green water at some point).
