Nano 6025

Roger,

Two questions:

1) When I unplug or power goes off on my 6025 when it starts back up the impellar rattles and "jumps" as if the impeller is not seated for a few seconds. Then it is fine. Is this normal?

2) Is there a way to decrease the flow at all (I know it sounds odd!) I have it in a 20L and it really moves some water! I was thinking off another cross piece of plastic in the output nozzle? Would this work or just cause a problem of back pressure or something?

Thanks!

1) Yes, that is normal
2)You would have to try it, the main thing I would worry about is if you obstruct the flow too much either from the inlet or outlet you risk the prop running backwards.

i have the same happen to my 3 6025 but it doesn't bother me. what bothers me is that one of them is rattling. it's kinda like something is banging. why is this happening and what can i do to stop it. and yes i installed the rubber footing on both sindes of the magnet. i have 3 and only one is having the rattle noise. what should be done to stop this?

The ratling one is probably broken. I suspect you will find the shaft came out of its socket. It should be fixed in this socket. I will replace it for you if you send it in.

ok so you wil send me one as soon as you recieve mine, right? wehre do i send it?
can i go back to my LFS where i bought it and will they replace it through or i have to send it to ya?

Yes, I don't have any pumps right now and won't get more until late next week but odds are pretty good by the time it gets here I will have one to replace it with. I think it would be fastest this way as likely your dealer doesn't have any left either.
