Roger, before i put one on Back Order, do u know if Tunze has resolved the issues the 6025 and 6045 have had with the shafts and vibrations? There seems to be a lot of threads with problems on the present models and dont want to spend that kind of money and have the same problems. I already have 2 6100's and the nano would be pefect for where i need to place it.

thanks
Ben

Ask anyone who has a new one, it is solved. The older ones just need a new drive unit with a better fit.

No, the parts are all ready, in fact I should get a final packaged unit this week.

Just one unit?:) Did you mean you will get some parts in first?

Roger,

So what is the tentative release date for the 6055's ? I am building a new tank and am trying to figure out flow choices.

Thanks

Parts usually follow the products about 3-4 weeks later.

I just spoke to Mr. Tunze today and I should still get my first pumps in early-mid April. I expect though that the first shipment will only cover existing preorders.

so are you saying that the late march shipping date has been moved back again to mid april? Last we talked you said they would be shipping from tunze to you in mid to late march and be at the dealers by2nd week in april. now are you saying you wont receive them till mid april which means we wont get them till may?

I can attest to this! other then the drive unit not allowing the 6045's to correct themselfs on start-up it has been flawless. Roger sent me new drive units, and they are perfect, and completly trouble free. The 6055's should never have reverse rotation problems though as they are DC motors and only will spin one way. I have actually considered upgrading to the 6055's and a multi controller, but my other hobbies seem to be consuming my play money recently, so i will have to stay with the 6045's for now.

No, shipping has moved back a little but no more than 1-2 weeks, they should still be here before April is over. This year there was a change in German electrical code. The same change is coming here with new meters that are read by a radio frequency and circuit breaker boxes with a voltage stabilizer, the city of Austin sent out notices saying 2012 we would all be switched to these new meters and meter reading would be a thing of the past, plus it instantly informs the power company of any outages or surges. A few months ago the factory got its new meter and this is when the problems started . These components wreaked havoc on the circuitry of the pump making them start and stop and just really act tweaky. Some shields had to be added to protect the board. This was done weeks ago but it was another part to procure and more tests were required. This is done, several pumps have already been made and I was told that they will still come in April. I am getting one final version, packaged and all, next week to preview.

Come on roger. We have talked and talked about this. I pre ordered mine on October 4th and since then its been one delay after another. Now when you say "they should still be here before April is over" do you mean that's when they will get to you or to the sellers? I asked in my previous post if they were delayed again and you start off your replay with "NO" but then add that they are backed up no more than a week or 2. That's another delay and a long time for people that were told in 2006 that they would get them before then end of the year. I know its not just me that's ****ed. I can read and I see a lot of other people having the same frustration with this. Your going to be 7 months behind on your release. If you go to a restaurant that has the best steaks in town. If the waiters never come to your table or constantly bring the wrong stuff or make you wait an hour after ordering your steak before they bring it to you, it gets to the point that it doesn't matter matter how good the food is when the service sucks(not you roger. I know your doing all you can do on your end). People will just quit eating there. You might want to mention to tunze that people are looking for another place to eat because of the service. I just keep thinking that surely your engineers would have worked the bugs out and all the other problems BEFORE announcing a release date. Good luck to the people that are considering ordering anything that's considered NEW for 2007

I can't make one appear. No amount of complaining, no matter who does the complaining, can change the reality of the situation. When it is here it is here. If you can't wait buy something else.

Typical???? What else is he suppose to say? It is what it is. I for one have always been pleased with Tunze service. So if it takes an extra few months, decide for yourself what to do. Maybe you should consider a different component from a different company. I knwo how frustrating it can be to wait and wait. I have been waiting for the 6055's as well and will continue to wait. I can't even remember which vendor I am on the "Pre-order" list for. No biggie. I'll get it when I get it. On the same note I have been waiting since November for the new Maristar T5/MH fixtures...lots of postponement there as well. I just wait, complaining certainly does not make it go any faster, although it might make one feel better. But at what cost, making the other person feel crappy?? It sucks to have to wait and have delays we all know that but Roger is as straight up as he can be. I certainly can't wait for these little guys :D but somehow I manage to.

I would rather wait a few weeks/months than get one that's not gonna work right. Been waiting for months..a few more weeks ain't nothing. :)
