Good choice. I just bought a G-3 for my big tank.

I have a g3 on my 180 too.It was $115 shipped for the Mini g.Well worth it IMO.

Have ASM Mini for 10g tank and ASM G-3 with gate valve mod for 90g, still don't like results.
Lucky you!

Did u adjust the tube??

Riser tube, for the skimmer without gate valve? Yes, all the time - few times a day. Other way - overflows or produces nothing (with not clean water in the tank). Water level fluctuation in negligible - within half of inch, more - when the pump was stopped and started again, for a seconds.
Mine may be special case - the sumps are beside the main tanks, same water level.

Are you a sales rep for asm or something? Every chance you get i see you post about a deal you got on the asm nano for $115.
