Nano Corals...

I was curious as to what corals that may be good (& look beautiful) for a small nano tank (3 gals.)...I am assuming something slow growing & something that will do well under 50/50 PC lighting...The tank is obviously not deep...From light to sand it is about 12 to 13"...A couple pieces of live rock as well...What will thrive, be slow growing, but also be beautiful??? I do not plan on putting anything new in for @ least a couple of months due to the tank only being about 1 1/2 months old but I would like to get an idea of prospective canidates so I can do some research...Any suggestions???

I've seen lots of stuff in those tanks, the main restrictor for you is going to be the light. Alot of folks, myself included, are quite fond of zoas and pallys. Not exactly slow growing depending on the conditions but are easy to aquire, trade and most are newer tank friendly.

What would I be restricted to??? It is an 18 watt power compact...Would zoas be ok??? Chalice??? Is there anything that I should stay away from???

with that much light over a pico, you have enough light to keep anything. but here is the dilemma, if you go softies you will get board, if you go sps you will have a headache, find a nice medium. tell you what, pm your number and I'll donate a coral or two. and you can check out my 6gal. CHEERS, TONY

Something brightly colored, but also hardy....
Maybe some greene star polyps, zoas, pulsing pom pom xenia, frogspawn/hammer/torch.

I would go for flourenscent colors in a tiny tank.
