Nano corals

What corals can I keep in a 2.5 Gal aquarium? I like the hammer coral... is that ok? I have a 24 watt 50/50 compact fluorescent over it for light. I want a lot of different colors, and not all shrooms.

up to you. the sky is the limit when it comes to good water quality.

i would reccoment at least .25 waterchanges weekly

Yes those are a good choice. The Hammmer would work to.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but would a very small colt coral get too big for a 12 gal nano?? I used to have on in my 58 and loved it.

you could do a colt coral in a 12 gallon. When it gets to big just give him back to your LFS.

Better thought... ... ... frag the colt and sell/trade back with the LFS for more goodies.

Thanks to xenia, anthelia, zoa, mushroom and colt frags I haven't had to buy a bucket of salt, fish food or alk/calcium suppliments in almost 2 years.

Hmmmm... that reminds me, I need to do a little fragging this weekend. LFS just got in a couple of 30gXT that will make a great Gulf species tank. :lmao:
