Nano Cube 12

Its on the large size for dwarf seahorses and much too small for any other horse.

I would suggest something around 30 gallons. You could get away with slightly smaller, but with a smaller volume of water, you need to be much more disiplined in your aquarium husbandry (water changes etc).

I'll second that. Those nanocubes are nice little tanks, but much better adapted to handle a nano reef than a small seahorse environment. It takes too much tweaking to make them right. Better to spend the money on a larger system that you setup specifically for the SH.

Nano cubes can work with significant modifications. It is easier ust to get a 10g IMO. The Nanocube 12g by JBL only holds 8g as it is.

a 12 gallon nano is only good for dwarfs the smallest size tank for a pair of average size horses is a 30
