I had a 75 gallon mixed reef tank set up for around five years and when my daughter was born my fish room was turned into the nursery so I had to down grade tanks to a JBJ nano cube 28. I had the tank set up for a couple for years before I decided to take a break from the hobby. My son really wants to set up a tank so he and I are setting the nano cube 28 back up. I used part of the dry rock from my old 75 gallon system to set this tank up. I used around 15 pounds of live sand that I ordered online. I filled the tank at the end of August to start the cycling process. My testing is indicating that the tank is cycled and I should be ready to add some live stock. I am going to add some snails for a clean up crew, and I will be adding some coral frags before I add the fish. I am still running the factory return pumps, and I have two small power heads for water flow. I have the upgraded in tank media box in the central chamber. The tank still has the factory 105 watt PC light in it. I am open to any suggestions for improvements or upgrades to the tank. Here is my first FTS.
