hey,

I bought a 12 gallon nano from someone and it was already established.

I haven't added any chemicals to my tank and everything seems to be doing good-not fantastic-but good

is there anything that you guys would recommend for my tank? Iv seen the "Nano part A and B" does anyone have any feedback on that?

thanks!

My wife has a JBJ NC 12 and she doses 2 part daily, iodine and trace elements weekly and we use RC for our salt. Everything seems happy and healthy. Hope that helps.

Have you had a chance to test all of your parameters? If we knew more about your specific levels of calc, alk, sg, etc we could make a better decision on what would really help you.

everything is at normal levels-im not that deep into the testing yet-i have the dip sticks and my boyfriend has tested some of the water and said it was fine. I just am not sure what to you us for a daily regement.

thanks djrabbit for the info!

I dose calcium and alkalinity daily in a two-part equal dosing system. In order to truly determine how much you will need to dose, you should start off by testing your calc and alk levels, then begin dosing according to the recommended dosage, and then vary accordingly to the proper levels. Once the proper levels have been reached, you just continue that dosing level and check levels periodically.

pixiegirlie I have used the dip sticks before and I think they are OK for a quick check but I really recommend getting Salifert test kits yes they are expensive but when you start counting how much you have spent on corals they are cheap Good Luck
