nano flow question

hello new guy here and I have a question, i have had a 12 gall nano cube running for over a year now and i just order the Hydor Koralia #1 pump that is 400gph. If I put this in my nano would it be too much flow?

I think it will be a too much. There was another thread about the Maxi-Jet 1200 which pumps out 295gph and they said that was too much. Maybe you can restrict it?

Whoops that was for a 6g. But I still think it may be too much for a 12g.

I have the koralia 1 in my 24 and it is a LOT of flow in my tank. Might have to be creative with placement/angle to avoid a sandstorm.

no, you should be just fine. In my 22gal cube I have a tunze 6025, sieo 620, and a return with approx 400gph. Which is about a 70x turnover with a sandbed so you should be just fine with a turnover of 58. Good luck and happy reefing

have a Tunze 6045 in my 15g bare bottom 80x turnover and want more flow of course this is being built as an sps tank
