Nano herbivore?

Let me start by describing my system. I just got everything put together, its 2 50g breeders hooked to the same sump and skimmer. In one of the tanks I have some LR that has calerpa on a rock, both the feather and small grape kind. In this tank I have 2 small ~1" percs, ~1" yellow clown goby, 2 tiger pistol shrimp, and soon to be 2 yasha gobies. The tanks were originally set up for a while so the systems are fairly stable just new tanks. Anyway, I have a feeling the macro could possibly get out of hand down the line. I like the look now but if it takes over the tank, that wouldn't be cool.

I'm not going to put a tang in a 50g tank, but was wondering what kind of nano type fish are herbivores that would possibly handle the macro down the line? I'll more than likely prune it myself for a while and put it in the fuge, just looking for options for later on. TIA for any suggestions.

sorry, i forgot to add that I also have soft corals such as a leather and zoanthids, and a torch coral... so hopefully something that won't nip at those as well!

Rabbitfish are good macro eaters, but they get big pretty quick. Turbo snails will keep macro down if you have enough of the - they seem to focus on the easy film algae if you only have a few.

IME magnificent rabbitfish are the best at eating macro, bubble and most types of algae.

Some tangs will eat it as well, but they also get larger. They are hit and miss even within the same kind.

Bristletooth blennies will be great herbivores.

Try a Lawnmower. Great personality, and actually quite colourful to me, but others may not think so.

Bicolours are also good.
