Nano Koralia question.

I just bought a 34g red sea max tank and the previous owner gave me a nano koralia that he had for extra flow in the tank. However, the magnet that hooks up to the koralia isn't magnetized any longer? I'm referring to the actual magnet that goes INSIDE the tank attached to the powerhead/pump itself. Now my question is can I buy just that part or do I have to buy an entirely complete new pump/powerhead? All advice and info is appreciated. Thanks

Could I just be honest?

A nano koralia isn't going to do squat in a 34g tank. I wouldn't waste your time worrying with it. I could create more flow blowing thru a straw than the nano koralia.

If you want some more flow in your 34g... get a K2.

I agree with frank. I had a korolia 1 in my 29g cube and that was evan a waste.Id get 2 korolia 2s in there or a 2 and a 3

I agree with naz420 & Frank. I made the mistake of buying one and found out they are crap and ended up putting a k2 in my 34 gal.

it just depends on what other types of flow already exist in the tank, but I agree that you should ditch the K nano, go with 2x koralia 1, or one k1 and one k2.. I think 2 k2's for a 34 would be a bit too much unless you have them aimed PERFECTLY

Depends on what you're doing with the tank. For instance, I have my 36g corner set up for BB with 2 - Koralia 3's aimed at each other from opposite corners. In addition, I have 300gph return and 100gph HOB refugium. All adding up to 2100 gph or 57x flow.

Of course, this is a BB tank w/ some acropora, zoo's, & clams.
But a couple K2's in a 34g tank won't be too much by any means.
