The ballast fried on my 12g. nano. It is 24w. LFS has one for $33. Does anyone have somewhere else that I can try. JBJ sells replacement for $50. Any help would be appreciated. Paul
I looked on Balllastwise and there are many choices. I was looking for 24w. Will any ballast with ratings of say 17, 26 or 32w on one ballast work? Or do i need only one that takes 24w. And how much would delivery cost and how long. Thanks for your help. Paul

Electronic ballast will fire all in the rated range. You need this. It is the 120V version. It is the same one I used on a hood for a friend. I have an extra if you are in a real hurry but they are pretty quick if I remember correctly.
I had decided to use the LFS ballast. It is the right kind. Just trying to find best deal. LFS wanted $25. for bulb that Fosters & Smith only wanted $10. Thought maybe I could find ballast for a better price. It is turning into a lot more work to try to save a few bucks. Thanks for your input. Paul
Are you sure it's the ballast? I have had two different nano's lights go out and on both of them, and on both of them it was actually the relay that switched power from the leds to the ballast.
So all I had to do was get in there and wire the ballast directly to the power and everything was fine.
