And aren't the reefbreeder lights the ones that give a pinkish hue in the aquarium? If so, then not a fan.

I saw a 16g Nuvo with the regular (not nano version) of the Razor. It looked okay but it is a pretty bulky fixture for a 16g tank. I wanted a smaller controllabe light in white.

While it may look a bit big sitting over the Nuvo, I had to get it as I know it will far exceed my needs and will come in play when I go bigger.

True. It will do well if you plan on upgrading. I don't plan on getting rid of my nano anytime soon so a nano-sized light was a better option for me.

My light came in. Haven't had the chance to actually hang it yet. It works well. Bright as heck. It will be dialed down even further then they had it set. Even at the setting they thought would be good for my tank to start with, it seems too bright to me so I'll dial it down a bit more. I'll take some pics when I get home. Pretty sweet little light.

I have a nuvo 16 as well and i kept stock lighting and put a 24 inch IM strip with the 456 actinic blues and I'm getting growth on my sps

I thought of doing that, but I was really tired of all the extra cords associated with three different light fixtures so I really wanted just one light. Also, not the hugest fan of the IM strip lights in terms of aesthetics.

p.s. My light still has not been hung as the hanging bar has not been received yet. It was shipped at the same time as the light but has not yet shown up *sigh* Hopefully, it is not lost in transit. So I have an awesome new light just sitting on my dining table.

Yea I hear you. The only thing I don't really like is they don't have on off switches.

My light still has not been hung over the tank. The hanging bar was lost in transit so David built me a new one and shipped it immediately after learning the first was missing. I got the hanging bar a couple days before leaving for vacation so I didn't want to put the light over the tank when I would be leaving for a week. Just got home last night. I need to buy a couple brackets to attach the bar to the wall. I'll also have to paint the brackets white to match the bar so will be getting some Krylon Fusion spray paint as well. Hopefully, I can get the light hung over the weekend. I'll post pics of before and after shots with the new vs old lighting.
