nano lighting question...

I have a 5g nano with a coralife 36w PC light fixture. I was wondering if that would be enough light for stony corals, open brains, trumpets ect...I want to try something new

Any one out there with that setup or think that will be enough light let me know.

Thanks in advance

Sounds prty fun to me! After all light intensity does drop exponentialy over 2x the distance, so with that small of tank, corals that close, you really are putting a bit of power out.

I would be careful.

36 watts is not that much light. Some LPS may take to it, others may not. Make sure you get them healthy, and feed them often.... with those 2 important things.... you should be able to do okay.
