29G Aqua Pod 15Lbs LV, stock lighting being upgraded to 150W 14K HQI, stock pump with Hydor, and the small rio "400" soon to be drilled in the back to hide it. 8 blue leg crabs, 4 mexican crabs, 1 sea urchin had for 3 years not sure of ID tho, a few mushrooms, and a yellow gorgonian/frag.

1 month old every thing came from my old 29G reef excepth the tank of course and the top layer of gravel but the bottom 1.5 inches is from the 29G
 
i think u mean 24 G aquapod :)
u sure the urchin will be okay in there? think u need a little more live rock to fill it :) nice purple rock at the lower left!

I was a bit concerned with an Urchin in such a young tank myself, there is not much to sustain the apetite of an Urchin in the tank. I'm really not trying to flame, but you may consider seeing if the store you bought it at would take a return...
 
Hes been with me for 3 years most the time hes on the glass or going through the substrate, if need be i can take him back the perks of having a roomate whos the manager at the LFS

You know what, I'm sorry, I really did read the post, and just didn't notice you said it came from an established tank.
And ya! that is an awesome perk!
 
Sorry to be another person bugging you about your urchin but keep an eye on it. They have sharp teeth and can easily scratch up your acrylic.
 
Hm, I always thought they were acrylic. I could be wrong. *shrug*
I'm sure somebody will come in and let us know. :)
 
They are most definetly glass. Tap on the tank (lightly) with a piece of metal and you will hear a higher pitched sound. Lower if it was acyrlic.
