nano question

Im thinking of having a pair of GSM's in my 24 aquapod, would the fish be too cramped? They would be the only fish.

Also, I'd rather not have an anemone, would this be ok?

TIA

When they are mature they may be destructive. I had a GSM that loved to dig with his tail and move frags. He hosted in a toadstool leather. Why not try true percs?

I just think that everyone has the percs, I thin the gsm's are so striking.

I guess I wanna go for something different. BUT- I am not cool with possible destructiveness... bleh what to do ....

Maybe two social/red fin fairy wrasse's...

ps. benni, Im think of trying to chisel my donut rock into halves, to make an arch, thoughts?

Ok, after some reading it doesnt sounds like Gsm's would be a good idea for a tank as small as mine.

Does anyone have fish suggestions? I have a firefish now, but thinking of trading him. He appears to be immune to ick, if anyones interested, I also want to trade a peppermint shrimpy

however, im waiting a few more weeks before adding any fish to my tank:(

Just to make myself clear, i didn't mean anything by the comment about everyone having percs. Im sure we'll have some in the 180. Just wanna do something diff in my nano.
eventually I hope to have a somewhat larger "nano". 50g maybe?
Thats years away though.

Lol, he is the one who seems to love it, not me, he insisted I use it in my tank. His isn't started yet. Were waiting on our house to be ready to move into. Maybe I should just scrap the thing...let the zoo scraping begin!

I personally love my wild caught tomato clowns....I think they are much prettier than the tank raised tomatos....JMO. I added a second one about a year after getting the first one (against LFS advice :) ). It took a couple of months for them to pair up, but now they are a beautiful pair....

I like the fact that I don't see too many people w/ the wild toms or cinnamon clowns.....mine have a beutiful 'ice blue' stripe on them.....

Im not a big clown fan, but those irregular ones from Ora are cool. I think they are called Picaso clowns as well. Hey there is a website called rareclownfish.com. All kinds of breeders etc. on there. HTH:)

I don't think they look that much like Clarkiis. Try searching them on google and you will find a pic. I think their body shape is more like a skunks.

I looked on Dr fosters pages and def not liking the blue stripes, however, Love the wild caught tomatoe on there, deep red!

They rec'd a 30 g tank though for most of the clowns...

ok googled them also and see the resemblance of both clarkkii and skunk, however, Im not a fan of either , lol

thinking maybe cinnamon or tomatoes, if my 24g is big enough for a pair, thoughts on that anyone???
