Nano Safe Macro Algae Grazers...

Hi All,

So I've got some rather annoying macro algae that came in on a mushroom frag. It has since exploded and is in quite a few places where I don't want it to be. Every week I've been picking off as much of it as I can, but by the end of the week (when it's time for the next water change) it comes back.

So, I'm wondering if there are any nano safe macro algae grazers? (Rest easy tang police, I'm not thinking of a tang! :D ). I'd appreciate any input and advice you may have.

Tank is a 24g AquaPod.

Thanks!

a type of hair algae (very thin but grows in a group) maybe? i dont know the name but thats what i think it is. or it could be a type of caulerpa? the feathery leafy kind.

Yeah, looks like feather caulerpa (I looked it up). Do you think an emerald crab would help? Or are they going to nip corals...

I don't think emeralds are known to nip corals, but they also aren't known to nip caulerpa... :(

I've tried a number of things, but haven't had much success. Some people have recommended getting an urchin, but I haven't tried and am not sure which kind of urchin.

I'm all ears.
