Depends on if you really wanna keep SPS or not. As a rookie you could just go with a stock Nano or Biocube with power compacts and not have to deal with the intense heat or evaporation that only make maintaining a smaller system even harder.

The all in ones run hot and I think that the MH may mean that you will have to buy a chiller. I do like the fact that it comes with a fuge.
