Thanks a lot! I'm using a 150w Sun pod with a 20k radium supplemented by a single T5HO geismann pure actinic that I retrofitted to the sunpod.
For dosing I use ESV B-ionic 2 part by hand(soon to be on dosing pumps). I does 8ml of each, twice a day, 12 hours apart. My levels are ~8 for Alk, 420 for Ca, and Mg runs around 1350.

I started this system back in Nov. 2007 with a 10 gallon and some PC lights. It has evolved into what it is now within the last 6 months. I started very slow and mainly with zoanthids.

Its a 16 gallon bowfront I would like to go larger but I live in an apartment, so for now its fine. I have a 150w Pheonix 14K retrokit from hellolights hanging from the ceiling. No actinic supp.

Very simple setup. No skimmer, just flow (for now).

I recently ventured into the SPS world and now have a few pieces, some from a friend others from purchases.

Currently:
ORA Chip's
ORA Pearlberry
Tri Color
Blue Tip Acro
Green Milli

I just got some new photo gear so this is perfect timing. I shot these shot last night with the new stuff.

Here are a couple FTS and a macro:

I have a few more photos here.

I will shoot more tonight. I also just realized that the colors aren't as great as they could be due to the adobe RGB to sRGB conversion on Flickr.

nice tank but whats that stuff on the backwall?

tank looks promising, inspiring aquascape and nice coral choice!

All you guys in the 29 gallon range what are you running for flow/powerheads?
I currently have a 29 which I am going to try SPS in. I have a mag 5 for return pump which makes some good flow. For a powerhead I only have a koralia 1 and I know I am going to need more. I am thinking a koralia 3 or a tunze 6045.....what do you all think?

Good question! I've had my AIO with 30 gallon display set up for about 9 months and I just pulled my LR today to finally cook it. I have 2 modified Tunze Nanostream 6025s (around 1100 GPH from what I've read) and the return from behind my false wall (Y'd off MJ 1200 through Locline nozzles). Without the LR obviously the flow is significantly less obstructed but it's looking like way too much flow right now while the corals are sitting on frag racks.

Throw a Vortech on there don't mess around with modified maxi-jets or korilla's or nano streams imo they're all a waste of money because you gonna wind up upgrading again in the future. I have an original Vortech on my 24g and it works amazing!
