nano sps tank with T5s out there?

Just curious if there are some people with nano tanks with 24" t5 setups to provide light out for the sps they have. I've seen good results with the 48 inch bulbs, but haven't seen much for the 24" bulbs.

I've got 3 24" bulbs run on an Icecap ballast in my 29 gallon system and it provides "strong" light and while my tank is young and my frags have only been in the tank for about 1 month, things look promising. Just want to know what types of colors I might end up with.

Pics and bulb choices would be a plus.

thanks

I was running 2x24W T-5 and a 55W PC for a year..great growth and color with digi's, caps, green slimer, and a blue bali stag.
Just replaced the 55wPC with another 4x24W T-5 about three weeks ago. So far eveything looks good. Although I've been haveing a hard time getting everything use to soo much light. I sitll cant run all the bulbs at the same time for more than a couple of hours. I had a few things bleach out on me..both of them pink/red millis, so I cut the light back again and am trying to get them use to it.

Duec 22, That makes me feel better. I have a pink milli that was near the top of the tank that I wouldn't say bleached, but got pretty pale and is just now starting to turn around and color up. It came from a t5 tank so I figured I'd place it near the top, however, after thinking about it his frag was in a frag tank which was just a 96w pc and had been there for a week or so, so it probably got used to the lower lighting.

How many hours do you run your bulbs? What color combo?

thanks

I try to keep a 12hr light cycle. In actuallity there are only 5 bulbs over the tank with one over the HOB CPR fuge.
right now the lights are like this

Actinic/Blue Plus 12pm-5pm
11000K Aquablue Plus 4pm-8pm
Actinic/Blue Plus 10am-10pm
11000K Aquablue Plus 4pm-8pm
Actinic/Blue Plus 12pm-5pm

what I'm doing is trying to gradually increase the overlap time of the outer sets of bulbs.

i'm running 4 36" T5's on a 30 gallon nano. SPS corals appear to be doing fine. I am presently treating for red bugs that came in on a blue tort from a LFS. ...Jim Z.

lgoins, I'll take a pic tomorrow after work and post my latest. Right now its just a tank of lots of frags. Color is just starting to show in some. Most are still brown as when I received them from someone with PC lighting. I also need to do a better job of aquascaping as I'm not happy with my "wall"

damienkee, I've been a little concerned with some of the frags I have "pink milli and green table". They paled up quite a bit from when I got them, but I'm hoping that it was the change in lights. If my eyes do not deceive me they are just beginning to get some of that color back and then some. I have heard that t5s tend to offer a more "pastel" look in colors.
