Nano stocklist

Considering a nano tank for my office. I'm looking into a Nuvo tank, probably a 20g.

Thinking about the following:
2 snowflake clowns
Helfrichi firefish
Six line wrasse
Yellow candy hogfish
Flame hawkfish

Any thoughts?

I would stop there. I am building a 35 gallon cube with a 12 gallon sump. I plan on keeping my frostbite clowns in there with a helfrichi fire fish. That's it. I would imagine in an AIO tank the filtration area takes away a lot of the swimming space so that makes stocking even more challenging.

It could work. But I would try a Cryptic wrasse before I tried a six line in that size tank only because the former are more peaceful and stay smaller than six lines. Ive seen quite a few cryptic wrasses lately so they aren't hard to get.

I would add the helfrichi, and maybe the flame hawk since it's sedentary, or the clownfish. The others all need more swimming space than a 20g allows. Minimum tank size for the hogfish is 30, as for the 6-line. That many fish in a 20g would also produce a lot of waste, and the filtration might not be sufficient to keep up the water quality.
My 16 in the kitchen has a spotted mandarin (trained to eat cyclop-eeze) as the only fish, but I have 10 sexy shrimp, an RBTA cloned from one of my other tanks, a scoly, a halloween hermit, some macro algae and a squamosa clam in there. There's lots you can add to make it fun, doesn't have to be all fish.

Would a flame hawk eat hermits and snails? I know shrimp are out, but I would need some CUC in there.

Funny thing that...a pair of cb occelaris came with my show tank when I first took it over. Thinking the exact same thing, I bought them an RBTA, and they ignored it. Instead the female decided she liked my torch, and pretty much torched herself and her mate. So she's now living in the hospital tank until the hyperpigmentation from the stings fades. Sadly, he didn't make it. Stupid fish....

Probably...flame hawks are pretty aggressive and reportedly like to munch on crustaceans who stray too close.
