The 6055 could not have this issue as the rotation is controlled by electronics, it is a totally different set up. The 6025 and 6045 may do this occasionally, the start up is a simple mechanical system and while they can be turned off and on with longer intervals it is not perfect, they are really best left to run continuously. All synchronous pumps spin in both directions, but it is a probem when a propeller is used rather than an impeller. When the drive unit is properly fitted this doesn't occur often but debris in the pump and other issues may allow this to happen on occasion.
