Nano Tank Hood

I was given a nano tank for christmas and the light does't work, I changed bulbs no luck , I need to tank the top off to get to the ballast but don't know how to get it off , anyone know how to get the top off or does it come off. Any help would be great.

Sorry I didn't clarify the type on tank it is a jbl nano cube with 1 24 watt compact fluorsecent

I have the same thing to take the hole lid off just lay it closed and pull from the back of the tank to the front of the tank. it should snap right out. If you look close to the hindges there is a gap for them to slide out. hope this helps

Kellymmm1 is correct. It usually help me if I gently pull one side, then the other.
