Just note that with a mantis you might not get many pods.
When I was able to capture the mantis from my main tank I put him on the refugium hoping to find someone who may want him, over time I got lazy and feed very little, in a month or so most of my pods (and snails) were gone. I had to take him to the Q tank and re-seed the refugium to recover from the incident. My mantis sump is over run with pods, but my mantis is heavily fed too.

I was the lucky recipient of the mantis he is referring to. Was gonna post a pic, but I guess I don't have one loaded on photobucket.
+1 - Shouldn't do a mantis in that size eithermandarin in 2 1/2g's... no way
