Hey!
My tank is a 20g high with a hob refuge, oceanic protein skimmer, eheim 2213, ac 30. (will be upgraded soon :D)
Currently I have a firefish, urchin(sold to me as a pinchusion), some snails(stomatellas, turbos) a BLUE cbs, and some corals..
I would like to add the following:
~3 sexy shrimp
1 blood shrimp
1 porcelain crab
1 pom pom crab(is it completly coral safe? asking because of the nems)
i'm also looking to add some fish, i know it's not the right forum, but what would be safe with the following?
is my blue cbs going to hurt any of those?
thanks,
Roy.

hmm that's why i mentioned it's blue, they are almost half of the regular cbs size, and they are a lot less aggressive.. my cbs comes out only at night, and it didn't touch a thing.. yet lol
any other people with a blue cbs?
thanks,
Roy.

I had a blue cbs before years ago. It stayed very small and hung out with my diamond watchman and redheaded goby in the watchman's burrow. He cleaned the watchman in return for room & board I guess LOL. They only get about 1 1/2" fully grown. It didn't roam around the tank really, and never went above the very bottom parts of the rockwork. I originally got a mated pair, but the female got eaten alive by a nassarius when introduced to the tank, I guess she was weak. I'd love to get another one this time around.

I didn't realize the blues were that much smaller. Good to know. I'd still be worried about the sexy shrimp, but hopefully someone with experience with the two can let you (us) know. Cheers!

Roy, that was from my tank years ago. I just got a tank in October after being out of the hobby for 6 1/2 years! Nothing good right now, and that was the best small invert I had (I love inverts more than fish LOL).

Sparsereef, I know what you mean about the sexy shrimp...they're just so tiny! The blue CB is very small though, just not quite as small as a sexy shrimp. I think the sexy shrimp are awesome, but I wouldn't put one in my 55, I'd probably never see it again! My guess (and it's only a guess) would be that they would be fine together, if for no other reason than when I see sexy shrimp (and I sure see a lot of them lately), they're always up on top of the rocks and the blue CB (and the yellow ones I see at the stores) are at the bottom.
