Nano wave box on a glass tank

I have heard that using a wavebox will cause the seals on a glass tank to breakdown/wear more quickly, but I wanted to see if that's really the case or not? i am looking to change up the flow in my 120, and add a nano wavebox, and a couple of new 6105
nano streams. is this going to be a problem over time? the tank is a euro braced Oceanic tech tank.

You will be fine with the oceanic tech tank. Tunze recommend to have the tank build a bit thicker compare to the regular spec. But i have not notice anything change with using tunze wavebox on regular tank. I used to run the tunze wavebox on an old AGA tank approx 5yrs old, i bought it off an old dude who had left the tank dry in his backyard for years without any issue.

Beside oceanic tech tank build super strong. It can handle the wavebox and the stream with any issue at all.....

No sir. The Higher HQ decided to cancel my order to Colorado till next year. I hope they still send me to Colorado after Feb or March next year.

Just to clarify, it does say in the manual that it weakens the tank seams, any surge type device will do this. The tank life is generally reduced by 10-15% if a tank is well made and on a level stand. Realistically almost no one keeps a tank for more than 15 years and we figure a tanks life that is well made to be about 20 years I don't see this being much of an issue, usually after even 10 years a tank is scratched, hazed, faded trim and just looks like crap. I have a 10 year old tank at home and I am looking to replace it in the next couple years because it looks pretty ragged.
