nano wavebox

Hi,

I just got a wavebox yesterday, and I set it up with the photocell, everything was working yesterday and last night, when I got up this morning, the green and red lights on the controller are flashing back and forth, but the pump is not working. I checked all of the connections to make sure they were good and verified that the nothing in the pump was blocked.

Any suggestions?

As an update, I have gotten the unit to work. It seems like the impellor of the pump gets stuck somehow (its not clogged and there isnt anything within 6 inches or so of the output). I can restart it by forcing water into the output with my hand (sort of like slapping the output underwater). This has happened about once an hour this morning.

Please open the pump and check, some packing material may be inside the pump, they also do a dry test run with vaseline and sometimes an excess can cause this same problem. Just use a Q Tip to remove any excess.

I think the problem must have been due to the vasoline you mention... After most of Saturday spent restarting the pump (using my slapping method) the problem worked itself out and the box has been running continuously since then.
