Nano

I have a spare 10 gallon nano aquarium, and i want to have a beautiful colourful reef, and mayby 1 or 2 small fish, i just wanted to know what is the best LR and LS to use and if anybody has a 10 gal or close enuf to it please post it and what youve got inside it!
also im not guna put a sump on it so i was planning to use apowerful external filter would this be ok?

id use southdown sand, hard to find but really white and fine i hasv eit in my 29

I had the livesand in a bag in my 10 gal, they sell 10lb bags which are perfect. Here is my old 10 (took it down about 2 weeks ago)
