NanoCube DX12 pump upgrading issue / question

So I've been checking out the past posts about people with the Nanocube DX12 and I just upgraded mine to the Maxi-Jet 1200 like others did. However now my system went from dead quiet to a decent hum with the lights out.

Did anyone do anything to fix this humming / vibration issue? If so, what did you do to fix it? Downgrade back to the old pump?

I thought most people with the 12 gallon go with the Maxijet 900.

Is the powerhead laying on the bottom of the chamber? I bet you hear the vibrations. I put the suction cup bracket that came with the MaxiJet on the powerhead them lowered it down so the suction cups were on the bottom and absorbed the vibrations.

I went with what was said in this thread from the main page on RC.

Seemed like most got the 1200 from that. I did not install the suction cups, i'll do that now and see if that makes a difference.
