gurl, a necklace of pvc fittings? getting all practical on me now...geesh...lol... and whats with all this ¢¶©ßå(*# language? my poor innocent eyes!

lets all get together and send gurl a RC plumbing care package.... i'll start with union ball valves. anyone want to contribute bulkheads? elbows? pipe? me thinks gurl is stalling on her tank and we need to motivate her to get water in it!

I have a cool support system installed also (an often skipped over part of plumbing tanks), but I don't want to post anymore pics on NanoGurl's great thread!

If we're pitching in let me know!!! I have a whole drawer full of extra PVC fittings from many many trips to Lowe's. :rolleye1: :lol:

btw... I don't know if I posted it earlier on the thread... but your pillars rock NG :thumbsup:

A lil has happened!

We got the tile ordered so we can finish tiling downstairs so we can then place the 120 where it needs to be and fill it up! The tile should be here by Thursday so maybe sometime middle of next week hopefully! Will depend on how much time clown has to put into the tile.

Good call on going with tile. I had a 100 gallons of RO all over the foyer,kitchen and my 3 year olds room. When filling my 120 I went to Lowes and when I was left I forgot to pull the hose out of the tank....Yep I pulled a vacuam back to the brute trash can that was filling the tank..3 days worth of RO gone. Thank God I layed tile throughout the house{except for my boys room}.
So the damage... replace my boys carpet ...

Lesson learned

Just curious. Why such a relatively small upgrade from a 75 to a 120? Especially since you have "Ocean" PBT, why did you not go with a longer tank like a 7-8' long 265g+?

Cuz theres more to life then a reef tank =)

New house, tile, hardwoods, window treatments, etc adds up quickly.

Yeah, I couldn't believe how expensive window treatments were when we moved into our new house. Yikes!
