If it can carry a tune, I'll come over and pay 10 bucks for a lawn seat!

So, you are a southern rock/country gurl, I would not have guessed that. My wife just emailed me about sugargliders....hmmmm...I just might have to have her pm you after all. We will see. Have fun at the concert.

This sould have gone earlier but RC seems to be having an overload of users...can't seem to get this to send.

Thanks! She can PM anytime.

What kind of girl would you guess I am then? :P

That is a toughie. You mentioned handcuffs on the last page...

I got my COM-100 TDS meter. It's kind of confusing. There are six settings to use. I tried the one I thought was the right one and it read 16 which isn't good. I then looked at my RO/DI unit and I'm not sure which filters to replace. It's one we had from like two years ago bought of EBAY. I'll take some photos of it later maybe someone has some ideas. I think I need to change it.

The filters were replaced I think twice and weren't used after the last time they were changed very much until recently when we started the tank back up.. but I'm going to switch them all out anyway.. it's not that expensive. I just don't know what to order. I'll go take a photo.

I'm not sure which to reorder and where. I didn't buy this RO/DI or use it before. This is all new to me. I've only made the water previously.

Thanks muelpaul. I looked up under the inside of the filter and it says mine is the Water General RD-100. I'll take a look at that store and see what's up.

Thanks! Now what do you mean drummereef lol.

It's always good to test your water in a couple different ways. It will tell you a little more about your water source and the efficiency of the RO/DI filter and the membranes/resins. First test your tap water's tds straight out of the faucet. Don't be scared the first time you see these numbers. :) Then, if you can test just the RO stage, you'll see what your RO membrane is taking out. Then finally, test the entire system, testing after the DI stage. Ideally you should be getting 0tds after the DI stage if all is working properly. ;)

Thank you, but how do I test just the RO stage? The water comes out of a plastic tube into a bucket. I'm assuming that's the final stage cuz that's what I put into the tank.

So I'm thinking about adding a light now to my fuge so I can add some chaeto or something. Any suggestions? My fuge section is pretty small so I don't need a big light.
