How is your copper banded butterfly? I read a while back you were acclimating one to the tank. I'm curious because though it would be my 4th one, I can't help but think there is a secret to keeping them that I haven't found in any of my research.

You must provide the proper environment for example plenty of live rock for them to scavenge worms and pods during the night. I have found they are very nocturnal "very active at night or dawn/dusk". So, proper feeding schedule and stick to it. They have a high metabolism so you will never see them fat or fat for long. I feed mine in the morning they come to you if you have a routine. I find this the best time to feed as the other fish are in hiding. Proper diet I highly recommend that high protein mysis shrimp some stores sell. Can't think of the brand off the top of my head. If you are not committed to any of the above mentioned recommendations I wouldn't try one. You will just cause them a slow death from starvation. Thats if you get a good specimen in the beginning...

The one I got from Clayton is eating and doing well. The one I got from DFS is eating off the rocks but not touching the aiptasia or eating frozen foods yet:(
