So I have had my 75 fish only tank for awhile now and am getting bored with it. Now i want to start up this 30 gallon I have into a reef tank. On my 75 I have an eheim canister filter. Could i have the inlet and outlet of the canister filter go into my sump? Would that cause flooding or any problems?

not sure exactly what you mean. if your talking about using the canister as a return from your sump to display i wouldn't recommended it as you could have flooding issues. but if your just talking about using the canister tied into the sump as a media reactor of some sort you'll be fine.
