Was wanting to get some more nano pumps...Was wondering which ones can be hooked up to a multicontroler ??

Currently I have one 6025 and one 6100. I like the size of the nano pumps better and was thinking of doing 4 nano pumps instead. But was wanting to have them on a multicontroller.

Thanx for you time Roger

I know you were asking Roger, so sorry to chime in.
only the 6055 nanostreams will be controllable from everything i've read, and there not due out until later this year.

i've been waiting for them too!

I think you might be dissappointed if you are switching from 6100's to the nanos but yes as jvlz73 said, the 6055 is the only controllable model. It should come in soon. I am getting one this week as a final working version to preview and they should be in production now. I will post pics and details when it arrives.

Consider this, Im using a 6100 in a 40 breeder right now (100%/40%, 6 second pulse) and its perfect. Granted, Im using the shroud from a 6200 so I get a much wider arc of flow, but still I dont think I would be happy with just a 6055 or something smaller in that tank even.

Thanx for the replies...

My problem is I have dead zones, and wanted to add more Tunze pumps. I have been nothing but impressed with Tunze. My only problem is I wanted to have more random flow as well. My tank is short (17" tall). And it's harder to get all dead zones wiped out as when I had a 21" tall tank.

since my tank is 6' long...the 6100 reaches all the way across, but to the side of it (towards the back of the tank, it's almost like theres no flow there. I didn't want to just throw in a Tunze that can't be controlled by a wavetimer, but looks like that might be what I have to do...

Thanx again everyone

If the dead zones are in particular areas I would suggest getting a 7400/2, you can find them often on eBay or here. This is a standard impeller pump but with a wider outlet, It is nice for spot blasts and the intake can be extended to sort of vaccuum up debris and get it back in suspension.

By adding the shroud from a 6200 to my 6100, the flow is very wide and hits both the top and bottom of the tank at once. On max, the 6100s dont even kick up much sand at the other end of my 40B though. Im thinking for my 120 (48x30x20"h), I might go with dual 6200s and mod their shrouds as well. Anyways, the flow goes behind all of the rocks where the pump isnt even facing.

a 4' foot tank is different for sure. I had no problem with dead spots in my 4'. This 6200 shroud sounds intersting, I"d never heard of this till now

So if I get a 7400/2 does it come with a controller ? If not can I get a Y connector to hook it up to the one I have my 6100 on.

Thanx again guys

I thought they were shipping at the end of this month? Man i dont know if i can hold out for the 6055's i was going to get 2 6025s but i really wanted the controllable ones :(

You can connect it to the Y connector on a single controller. It does not include a single controller.

Criminal#58369, yes and no, they will likely leave Germany before the month is over, worst case first week of April but it takes some time to get to me (7-10 days barring any customs or weather delays) and more time to get to the dealer (3-7 days) .
