NARC February Meeting

Hi y'all,

Coral Reef Aquatics is going to host our February meeting on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 2:00 pm. The main activity will be Aquarium Garage Sale. If you have used aquarium equipment/goods lying around, you can bring them to the meeting for trade or for sale.

8Ball got John's new 200+ gallon tank set up with a 4 port Ocean Motion. He will show us how the unit works during our meeting.

Good seeing you today! I plan on being at John's on the 25th. Don't know if I've got anything to bring, but I'm looking for a smaller HOB skimmer. (For a 30 Breeder).

This is the monthly meeting of NARC, the North Alabama Reef Club. Any reefer in the area is welcome to come.
As Tomoko said, the focus will be selling/trading reef related used equipment, etc., but I imagine some folks will bring frags to trade too.
Coral Reef Aquatics is located about 90 miles north of B'ham, a few miles off I-65. Check here for directions.

We do require that you be able to build exotic reef equipment out of coke bottles and airline tubing. So far, only Tomoko has met the actual requirements. The rest of us are on probationary membership.

The meetings are very informal...reefers strolling around, ogling fish and corals, making trades, discussing tank plumbing, snacking on food, etc. There is usually a brief 5-10 minutes of actual "meeting" in which there might be a discussion of possible future meetings/activities and a reef-related presentation might be made. There are no dues or fees for the regular club meetings (except for the aforementioned sacrifices and initiation ceremonies )
